FLAT CHAT DOG RACE
TAKE ME IN THE FLAT CHAT DOG RACE AT THE BUNGENDORE SHOW!!!
Catalyst Living Skills are inviting the dogs of Bungendore to come and take part in the Flat Chat Dog Race – who will be the fastest dog at the Bungendore Show?
It’s sooooo much fun……
Entry Fee: $5.00
ENTRIES ARE NOW OPEN VIA ShowDay Online.
THREE CLASSES
10am: Small (under 7kg)
11am: Medium (7-15kg)
12pm: large (over 15kg)
HERE’S HOW THE RACE IS RUN: For this event you require your fastest pet dog and a friend. One person (person A) will hold the dog at one end of a marked race track while the other person (person B) backs away from the dog until they are standing on the finish line. Person B can call the dog as they walk away and can even have doggy treats, all in the name of enticing the dog, once the starter’s flag drops, to quickly race towards person B. The first dog across the finish line wins. Heats may be held, depending on the number of entrants. Dogs causing interference during a heat or final with other dogs will be eliminated.
PRIZES
Ribbons and rosettes and a wooden spoon
